Midday operation of the Irvine shuttle connects residents and businesses in the IBC.

IRVINE, CA (April 1, 2008):  Irvine Business Complex (IBC) residents and employees now have a new way to reach shops and restaurants during their lunch hour. With the successful launch of midday i shuttle service, lunchtime travelers are a short bus ride away from shopping, dining and entertainment options along the IBC Loop of Main Street, Harvard Avenue, Michelson Drive, Dupont Drive, and Von Karman Avenue.

No more fighting traffic or looking for parking. The sprightly new shuttles are easy, convenient and comfortable. Midday service runs every 10 minutes between the hours of 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. weekdays.

To entice the community to try out the new shuttle service, rides will be free until September 1 with a limited number of passengers receiving envelopes containing a discount or prize from local retailers along the route. Prize/discount envelopes are available while supplies last.

Sponsored by the City of Irvine and designed just for the IBC community, the i shuttle will enhance Irvine’s image as a great urban place to live and work. For more information, routes, schedules and special offers, visit www.irvineshuttle.net.
